Very poor for me today, over casual and sloppy in possession and the defending for the first goal shocking. Slows the game down to much for me

Yes today you are right far to casual

That's a criticism that's been levelled at him for a long time... I've personally never understood the hype around Woolfie, but hey... if you're Tuanzebe, with his pedigree, you'd possibly be a bit miffed, to not be starting more games

We need to better organised defensively all round...

First goal was awful - he really seemed to fear pace as he did similar later on in the first half. Thought he was much better in the second half.

Was terrible! He should have won the ball, as had some height on the winger too... Then, the moment he was the wrong side of him he couldn't put in a challenge in the box..

It seems Wolfy, Clarke and Edmundson take it in turns to have a poor game.

Just why are we conceding goals so easily and chasing the game ?

Woolfy did not put in the firm challenge outside the box and instead ended up looking weak. The golden rule as a defender is to take charge of the man you are marking.

'Outmuscled' was a word that has been used. Just look at who he was 'outmuscled' by though. A rather slight, young winger! In Phil's report he noted that Wolf was favourite to win the ball as it bounced. Too right he was. He should have headed ball and player too straight into touch. He was weak and I would hope he is pulled up on it by the staff. There are four CBs all of decent quality vying for two spots. Pretty much all of McKenna's tenure, Wolf has been first choice. More weak shows like that and he might be in bother. Oh, and needs to move the ball with far more purposee instead of plwying at walking pace when in possession.

That’s where most of our problems stem from, not saying just lump it but we are so slow getting it out from the back.

Shock! Horror! Probe! Attacker beats defender!

It would be a dull game if that never happened (and we ourselves would have very few goals), so let's get a sense of perspective. As it it, someone should have been covering to cater for that possibility because you can't assume a defender will never be beaten.

This team is on track to get more points than we’ve ever got in the second tier - more than John Lyall’s league winners, more than any of Burley’s teams, more than Joe Royle’s teams…..but every week we have fans calling out players and the team as not being good enough

My annoyance is he made a similar mistake against Swansea. And then he almost repeated the trick today later in the first half. He does have an issue knowing how to defend against players running at him. He's had a good season overall but...

So a forward has dribbled past him twice in 30 games, doesn’t sound too awful - and when one on one in the penalty box it’s hard to defend.

Our style leaves our defenders exposed, they’ll get caught out some times, they’ll misplace a pass when trying to play through a tough press rather than boot it out. They’ll get beaten by good players, it is what it is. If they aren’t good enough consistently they’ll get upgraded - but it’s telling that we’ve brought in a player of Axel’s calibre and he can’t get in the team - and when he has played he’s faced the same structural issues as Woolfie does and fared worse

Nonsense-playing out and building from the back is seeing us score more than enough goals to be winning games.

We are losing games because we are conceding too many - 2 to a non league side, 3 last week, and two today to a team that can’t score away from home.

Whatever spin you put on it - ONE win in the last NINE games is very poor, it is in fact relegation form. We just threw away a 10 point gap to 3rd. Play-offs as we know are a lottery and we have a very poor record at it. Of course people are getting worried and the performance of some of the players, has been dross. Too many of the team (especially the regular starters) are putting in 5/10 performances week in week out since the scum game. Woolfenden being one of them needs a kick up his backside.

We should be looking to continuously improve in the league instead of being satisfied with what we have achieved so far. Promotion is never too early. We may have just come from League One, but I am not looking forward to another decade of stagnation in the Championship a la Birmingham, Blackburn, PNE etc.

Up to today, Woolfenden has been one of our better players through the poor run.

Drivel. Not even worth dignifying with a thoughtful response.

Mistakes were made today, but for most of the season Wolfenden has been class. He reads the game in a way beyond his years, is good in the air, when needs be can get a foot in, rarely gives the ball away cheaply. More often than not, he doesn't need to put that last ditch tackle in. But reading the game well rarely appeases the critics as a last ditch tackle would, and not needing to make that challenge in the first place.

He has literally been told to hold on to the ball by KM to try and bring opposition players to him and create space in front of him (slowing the game down), when the opposition are playing deep, If you have a problem with that, it's not Wolfenden you have a problem with but KM's tactics.

I really don't get this lump on from some, for what is probably only his second big mistake of the season. It feels like that they have made up their mind on him a long, long time ago and are waiting to slaughter him when he makes an error. But they will not notice a thing he has done well in the meantime. It's actually quite bizarre.

Ok, but try being realistic with what can be achieved.

We’ve lost 4 games all season, regulars aren’t putting in ooor performances, if they were we’d lose more
