For all the grief he may get, the three goals he scored for us were actually pretty decent strikes:

7th November 2015 – vs Rotherham (A) – W5-2 ~ go to 0:40

21st November 2015 – vs Wolves (H) – D2-2 ~ go to 0:15

Boxing Day 2015 – vs QPR (H) – W2-1 ~ go to 1:20

Wes Burns clearly honed his trivela technique by studying that Douglas goal against Wolves.

Robbed of a goal in the derby as well.

When he makes it back to the dressing room, he can have a biscuit!

I’d forgotten he ‘ran’ like he’d crapped himself

Giving me nightmares seeing some of those players. Mind you, Murph in there. What a great signing he was - McKenna would have loved him.

It looks so slowed down compared to the game we play these days.

Nowhere near as fantastic/professional/magnificent as Extremely Committed Cole Skuse wasn't he?

With Natalie Sawyer waiting at home there could be an argument he was just conserving his energy

No, in his time here he was nowhere near as good as Skuse.

Little difference between them. Douglas actually would run a bit more. Effective or ineffective is a different matter. He'd try harder.

Triggered.....why.... why would I? Just because you're TWTD's George Huggins? Just because of you and your Matt Le Tissiers rants? You're making me laugh.

I am happy. Thank you. I'll be watching the West Bromwich game. Not everyone will be so please keep updating us on Saturdays morning.

You seem very angry and annoyed that a Town fan watching us play would be posting opinions about the game on a football message board. A strange thing to get upset about. Again , I hope you can get the help you need. Maybe put on your Super Fan t-shirt and get someone to give your belly a rub.

Those goals were pretty good, it must be said.

However, for a week in week out player, Douglas was depressingly awful. Hearing his name on the team sheet used to fill me with the glums. Tackling wasn’t his thing. Neither was passing, heading or shooting. He didn’t read the game because he was never in it. As for running, the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz would have left him for dead.

But yes, the goals were excellent. Despite seeing them at the time I don’t recall seeing the footage of the home ones so thanks for posting.

And this is why referee standards vary - people see the game differently!

His first season was ok, contributed fairly well. it was the second when his legs really had gone that was the problem.

Obviously that sort of nuance is frowned upon.
