Kropotkin123 8 May 2023 16:30The results are in, and it's our closest finish ever. Parky and ParisBlue were almost inseparable. Thankfully we had a plan that we announced at the start. Joint on points, we went to where Town finished. ParisBlue had us in first, while Parky had us in second. Note they both had Plymouth in twelfth!
Parky is the winner of a Town top. I've already sent a DM.
Our top 12 receive special commendations for being more intelligent than a supercomputer. FiveThirtyEight tried it's best, but was ultimately a whole 10 points behind our top 2.
Our previous winner was waveneyblue, they... err... valiantly(?) defended their title, finishing in 65th.
In other highlights, of course, our friend from up north finished last. portmanpensioner rounded out our top three. And Warkystache got a DNF for duplicates! Outrageous! tractordownsouth gave me a scare, after being on top for a fair few weeks. But, as they and Sheffield Wednesday know all to well, it's a long old season.
Next year we hope to be back with a Championship promotion edition. In the mean time, enjoy the full results below, and I look forward to arguing with you over the summer!!
