All seems a bit of a mess there. And they've missed MickMac's availability window!

They should never have sacked Leam Richardson. Maybe they will do a Posh and reappoint him. Can’t see Lampard going there but maybe Smith, Bruce or Warnock might consider it.

Stylistically it was a strange appointment to hire him to work with Richardson’s squad

In other Championship news, I see that Bart has signed an extra year with Millwall. Must be fairly happy as deputy with Long being their number one since September. 35 now so I suppose the convenience for his family is more important.

Basket case club at the moment. Wasn't Richardson pictured signing a new contract just weeks before he got the elbow? Players wages late? They punched massively above their weight for years in the Premier League and their attendances in the Championship are averaging a little over 12K. Simply put, they are really a L1 club who might do ok in the championship sometimes.

Should have hired Yaya

iirc there was a lot of doubt among the Wigan fanbase about the legitimacy of that photo in respect to it supposedly being taken ages ago and circulated to give the impression of everyone being happy and on-board with the situation which was a bit odd.

Strange appointment in the first place both for them to take a chance on Toure and him to go to a club in their position (both league table and shenanigans behind the scenes) for his first job.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Lampard would be mad to go there. Would end his career at a stroke.
Mid table Championship next for him, average funding, not expected to do too much.

If we do go up I wonder if he would be interested in coming back as deputy to Walton, as I assume Hladky will be looking to move on in the summer.

ever say never, although Big Vác seems happy enough in that pre-match feature. I don't know what the club's long term plans are with Hayes and Coleman are though, nor how any of our academy keeper are doing - would be cool to have Bart and Bort in the same squad

He still lives locally, we should have put a year on the table for him here!

Does he have a son in our academy? I'd love to see him back if possible, but maybe not probable!
