Hi all. For those driving part way to Charlton, whats your tube station of choice?

Thanks

....then Newbury Park is the easiest and has the largest car park.

The other alternative is to drive to Stratford, park at Westfield and get the Jubilee Line.

Enduringly lovable, intelligent and thunderingly exquisite.

You should be OK on the congestion charge because that really only is central London but the Ultra Low Emission Zone charge covers a much wider area (the area within the North and South Circulars). This would include Stratford but not Newbury Park. Our two ten year old diesel cars are liable to it. You can check your vehicle on the following link.

Park at Stratford, Jubilee line to North Greenwich, bus/walk to the stadium from there.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Will probably do Upminster -> West Ham -> Jubilee to North Greenwich

If you're not subject to the ULEZ then Stratford is dead easy

Don’t go to Stratford, you’ll be subject to congestion charge and pay more for parking. Newbury Park, £6 to park all day and central line into the city.

Think Newbury Park is less than that for weekends.

Could go to Gants Hill instead of Newbury park

Here's an alternative:

Drive to Dartford Station, then catch the North Kent line to Charlton, only 25 minutes. Costs are £4.70 to park at APCOA Dartford (info from Parkopedia), train £6.20 return (Trainline),
plus the Dartford Crossing, £2.50 each way. You can book everything online, remember to pay the Dart Charge by midnight.

If going to Stratford then park at International Station and NOT Stratford shopping center.
TBH, advance rail ticket would have been cheaper

Why is that? Cheaper?
