If a vaccine is anything less than 100% effective it will be dangerous to have one - and pointless for the vast majority of the population. To encourage people to 'go back to 'normal living' on the basis of a vaccine that may or may not work is probably worse than not having a vaccine at all and taking a few simple precautions that seem beyond most of the population.
To give some possible protection to vulnerable people...maybe of benefit - but again only if it gives a huge level of protection.

Your latest post must have about the same number of qualifiers to get through as Whitton United face before they get to the first round of the F A Cup proper...

Explain this sentence please.
Actually, don't bother. Just in case others are drawn into your ramblings, this is for them:

My skepticism regarding vaccines is well documented but even I am struggling with that one. Why would a vaccine that is say 99% effective automatically be dangerous? Unless I am missing something the effectiveness of a vaccine has no correlation to how safe it is.

Nobody would have the flu jab if that was the case

I don't know what happened there with the blank post, although undoubtedly one of my best.
Tails would be good for balance, so I'm all for that. Anything extra = good. Anything that drops off = bad.
On your first para, if only Fishers followed that mantra.
On you're second, regarding the tail, I would be more concerned how it would affect VAR, would the tail be classed as offside or Tailball? Would keepers be able to use their tail to make saves?

The flu vaccine is only about 50% effective. Is that dangerous?
A warning from history on introducing vaccines without proper testing:
In April 1955 more than 200 000 children in five Western and mid-Western USA states received a polio vaccine in which the process of inactivating the live virus proved to be defective. Within days there were reports of paralysis and within a month the first mass vaccination programme against polio had to be abandoned.
