Dianne Abbott's new policy announcement. 18:46 - Nov 28 with 10879 viewshampstead_blue

2 billion trees by 2040.....

"Impossible, some say - that's more than a quarter of a million trees every day."

Edit:
Should have said "it's a bit of fun". Poking fun at both DA's lack of mental anything (does she dress herself?) and the fact that Labour don't seem to do anything unless it says 'billion' after it......

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Rational criticism of any politician is acceptable.

In this instance, Hampstead had a dig at her intelligence and appearance following a policy announcement that she has no direct involvement in. He's not referring anything she's said about the policy but is dehumanising her as the benchmark of stupidity. As Herbivore said, there have been a number of politicians who have given more erroneous figures than Diane in the time since her error.

What could Hampstead's motivation possibly be here? Have a think about it.

I think I answered that in my previous post.
Implying I'm a racist and/or misogynist is wrong.

The OP is tongue in cheek fgs! Why are people so offended by some banter. It's not personal btw and no offence is meant.

Labour simply are trying to outdo the others by throwing huge numbers around. Abbott has made herself look foolish to often for it to be ignored. It's funny.

I didn't say all criticism of Abbott = racism/misogyny.

My point is that anyone using her as the benchmark of stupidity is likely a racist or misogynist.

I still don’t think that’s a fair assumption. A believer of the press’s (mostly) negative portrayal of her as stupid, perhaps; default racist/misogynist, perhaps not

You're a classic Tory. You're doing alright in life so you can treat all this as a game, the cut and thrust is fun and what's wrong with a bit of risqué banter, eh? And if you're economical with the truth to score some political points, well that's all part of the fun too!

The issue is that for millions and millions of people this isn't a game. The Tories have put 3.9m children into poverty. They've decimated public services. They've demonised and abused people on benefits, which includes millions of disabled people as well as those out of work. But you're alright, Jack. It's fine for you to lie, mock and sneer at Labour because, at the end of the day, you'll come out the other side absolutely fine. Sadly not everyone is as fortunate as you.

You start a thread attacking Labour every day... but because you've embarrassed yourself you're now claiming it as banter.

Keep posting these threads though, coz intentional or not they are funny.

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

Hi Zed. Someone just PM'd me selling tickets to your leaving bash after December the 12th. I thought you should know someone is trying to bootleg on your good name.

Thanks for the head's up. It could be genuine though - I've distributed some.

Did it look like this?

No, not at the moment

£150.00 is a bit steep. I trust it’s a free bar?

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

That’s a shame. More of a Prosecco centrist.

Charging £150 for a party at an open to the public cemetery? Very running dog of you Zed.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
