Worth dropping Chambers and playing Wilson tomorrow? 17:19 - Nov 25 with 3920 viewskizaitfc

Or is it more likely we will revert back to 3 5 2 formation?

Personally thought the wingers did okay Saturday tho, but the 352 does allow us to go with 2 up top

I think this is the one home match of the season where Chambers will be able to keep pace with the opposition front line.

Why? Chambers on the whole has played well this season. Tomorrow is one game where we definitely want his leadership on the pitch.

3-5-2 looks good for us on paper but it simply doesn't work. How many times when starting with it have we reverted to 4-4-2 at the break?

We should keep it simple and pray our individual quality gets us over the line. What that will mean for next season god only knows.

Why?

He and Woolfie are best two central defenders we have and by some distance.

Was excellent on Saturday. No blame for the penalty - attempted the block and no foul - nor the first goal - we were over-loaded 5v4 on the break.

Madness. He’s somehow becoming something of a scapegoat on here but he’s by and large been excellent this season. While Wilson has been useful, he’s not in the same league.

Why on earth would you drop our captain, who is also having a good season. Especially with Woolfenden next to him, we look reasonably solid at the back.
Incredible that some people seem to single him out for criticism. Suppose he has been around too long, so some people getting bored with him.

Maybe best to have a break from TWTD until you can post something vaguely informed or sensible.

If we restrict TWTD to jus the sane and informed, Phil and Gav will have to go out and get proper jobs.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Possibly Norwood for Rowe with Jackson playing on the left of a three and perhaps KVY could replace Donacien at right back but otherwise pick the same team that faced Blackpool. They'll probably get a twelve day rest after the Wycombe game anyway.

I agree these two must start as they are our best ,Chambers did well enough Sat apart from the two errors that contributed to their goals .

My reasoning for this is the strength of Wilson and given Wycombe are likely to be pumping the ball up directly Wilson would seem the best option at CB.

Was not an attack on Chambers, although think a few need to watch the highlights again regarding the 1st goal and the penalty he is far from blameless for both

Not for me, we need to defend high up the pitch and not get into a deep battle where Akinfenwa will dominate.

Why would we drop Chambers? He has been one of our star performers to date.

As for going 3-5-2, it could well happen as Lambert never fails to surprise with his tactical incompetence. I pray to god that he goes with a straight 4-4-2 though.

Don’t say anything about Chambers. Not allowed. Could have done better with both goals Saturday but apart from that.........
