Now obviously I don't know who is fully fit and who might not be but I have all season thought we are at our best with the above two plus Burns on the pitch . Burns still out I suppose so for me if possible Connor and Nathan start , on the pitch together that did happen on Wednesday.

Thought he was poor yesterday , first goal seems to assume its offside but not sure if he can save it anyway .Second goal no attempt to stop Axels cross and third goal slow to come off his line as Hutch first touch is a little heavy !

Been a lively debate once or twice on this forum regarding Clarke's positioning as he so often tucks in towards the centre backs in most games . Axel did the same many times yesterday so as has been pointed out by some of us that is how KM wants his right back to play when defending . Another interesting point , warm up yesterday heading and clearance practice instead of the usual 4 defenders we went into a 5 to include Burns .

Several regulars running on empty and the movement off the ball suffering late on Saturday , very understandable of course but it's going to be interesting to see our starting starting eleven Tuesday .

That we don't cheat like so many sides WBA for example , we don't time waste and keep going down injured!! We just got on with the game . Hence just the 3 minutes added time . We'll done to the officials for that .

KM simply must address the fact that we just keep conceding an early goal or the first goal and in doing so give ourselves a mountain to climb . Does not matter if we are playing Leicester Preston or Maidstone we simply cannot keep blaming the match officials we must sort this out . Hopefully starting next Saturday.

Set pieces

Bit of a worry again our lack of goals from the above. I can only remember Chaplain's superb header against Sunderland nothing else I can remember of late , obviously nothing against OPR or Stoke and about a dozen corners today plus other set pieces and no reward. I remember Kieran refering to it recently as a very important part of the game and it is of course . Maybe that's another reason we are out of the Cup !
