There is that, although the crimes might be somewhere else already. If we assume it’s “all these immigrants coming over here” we end up asking the wrong questions don’t we. In addition to international security, we should be asking how can we stop British citizens born and brought up in the UK being radicalised? (Some are asking that in fairness).
But this nonsense from Yaxley-Lennon and his chums is a distraction. I guess that’s the point. They’re less interested in security than they are spreading their vile message and recruiting. In the same way he’s happily happily subverted the course of justice for his own needs. This martyr act is a great recruitment tool - he’s got thousands of new followers and £20k in donations since he was locked up.

Well, surely Tommy will be happy now, and not need to go on any more protests.
He was okay with a 7% Muslim population, but not with a 33% Muslim population.

The thread has everything to do with the polarisation of politics on this board. The 'Antifa' types like Herbivore and his pals who consider Robinson indeed anyone right of Corbyn a Nazi. Have you actually bothered watching the Oxford Union address by Lennon/Robinson? It shows he is not far right. That doesn't fit with their agenda. Instead, they think shouting down people as a Nazi/Bigot/Phobe of some kind for not sharing your views (Which is in itself Fascist) and this board is infested by 'bullies' who mock, insult those who have differing views to them. Ignoring them is unfortunately in most cases the only way to avoid slanging matches. It is a pity as this board should be predominantly about ITFC, but unfortunately some of the sniping and downright abuse people like Benters get for his views are uncalled for and nasty. | |
