| Forum Thread | The orchestration of football: Madrid and Barca in Saudi at 21:31 11 Jan 2024
Having watched Real Madrid and Barca get to the Copa Del Rey final - Saudi Arabians would not tolerate anything less - and the manner Atletico and Osasuna lost, both matches felt scripted. Both Atletico and Osasuna losing by one goal proceded to concede sloppy goals in the last minute to send their Saudi hosts home happy. Has football really come to this? [Post edited 11 Jan 21:31]

Where does Town see itself here? Are we bigger, smaller or roughly parallel to Leicester? (for many decades we were much bigger) A previous thread concluded we have a catchment pop of around a million. Will the new Cobbold be big enough - or too big Who can say? [Post edited 15 Dec 2023 11:24]

Other teams' forums seem to have a dedicated thread to just match predictions and maybe scorers - they always get it wrong mind. Mine's above with, kinda predictably, Broady, Hirst and Chappers. |

Each time we don't win our rivals will benefit. Reading the forums, Leicester see us as much as an ally as a rival. Leeds and Soton are not so friendly. |
| Forum Thread | The Pope, Alex Ferguson, Einstein, Mr Bean, even Bojo - we all make mistakes at 12:57 2 Nov 2023
Sending out players that looked closer to third tier football than Premier League and closer to retirement than their peak maybe wasn't the best idea by Mckenna. Yes, Baggot, Humphreys and Harness showcased their worth, and McKenna probably has a clearer idea of where we need upgrades in January and next summer and we saved the legs of the starting eleven. But, in front of a big crowd we went down without a fight - McCarthy style. Baggot and Humphreys on from the start and one or two youths snapping at the heals of the Fulham prima donnas might have given the crowd something to cheer. I bet Fulham couldn't believe their luck as our seemingly systemless and bewildered players failed to provide the stern test they expected - if their forums mirror the staffs' concerns. It was disappointing; we all make mistakes. However, of course McKenna is the best thing that has happened to this club in 20 years and has the wiggle room the size of that corridor in Versailles so ... forgotten .... almost. |
| Forum Thread | looking at 2 Fulham forums - they are not over-confident at 21:23 31 Oct 2023
General premise is that if the newly arrived were not so week they'd be down there too. Some division whether to play the big guns or keep their powder dry for the pending Man Utd match. Almost feels like if we wanted it we could pass this round - only to face (probably) one of the big boys. Well, we did it with Wolves so with rotating we might squeeze through again, |
| Forum Thread | Any data to suggust the catchment area of ITFC at 00:53 29 Oct 2023
From north Suffolk - losing some population to Norwich City - to East Cambridgeshire to North Essex, with some Londoners I would guess. Population around 800,000, roughly. If so, we probably should be Premier League. That's just my stab at it. |
