Sam Williams has been a regular at our games, thought he was serving his notice before heading to ManUtd, but did wonder if he’d changed his mind. Massive window to not have a head of recruitment, any word on what the plan is? |

I can see it happening, given previous interest. I'm sure he has a reasonable release clause in his contract as I'm sure he wouldn't have signed it if it was too restrictive given his interest in getting back down south.
I'm sure the ColU thing will be well and truly overcome with the money, location, premier league and McKenna opportunity we would present.

Agree with those. I wonder if we will go for Charlie Hughes at Wigan as a project signing, maybe to loan out to a champ club, one we’ve spent a lot of time scouting over the last 2 years. Guess it depends on what they want to do with Baggott but Hughes is a perfect t fit for the McKenna approach. |

I take it he was one of the players in the pub during pre season, my word he was carrying some timber (to be kind). Kept pulling his shirt as it was too tight on his gut, and he was blowing after 10 minutes of following Omari. |

They all went out for dinner in London on Friday before driving up to Ipswich on Saturday morning. Budgets and projects I'm sure were planned a while ago though as transfer targets are well under way as well. |

When the Pioneer stand was first built my dad convinced me that they'd installed an emergency inflatable evacuation slide, like the aeroplane slides, which would be deployed from the back of the stand at the top. Think there is a hatch at the back which they used to hoist up cameras/stuff to the media area so was quite convinced at the time (I was about 8).
Would be handy for getting down for pitch invasions, but quite dangerous in hindsight. |

Yes! The merger of Paris FC and Saint Germain, albeit one both clubs wanted to do. They've now also got Qatar money so maybe even worse than MK Dons.
Ultras are very impressive, I've watched a few of their Champions League games live and spent more time watching the crowd than some of the football. |

I'm not sure the longer-term well-being of the club is uppermost in the Huddersfield player's minds, it sounds like the golf course, pub and probably beach are more likely. |
