Absolute monster. An important bit of defensive work there in the last few minutes. |

At the time I missed the throw out from Hladky in the build up to winning the penalty. Absolute quality distribution from him once again. Clarke showed great quality to set up the third goal. God damn I love this team, every single one of them. |

Agreed. Looks a quality player and very much looking forward to seeing more of him. He's going to get goals for us for sure |

Been singing 'He’s magic, you know Jeremy Sarmiento' since the day we signed him, total earworm, even had folk in my office joining in |

Huge win. Fridge was immense, never put a foot wrong all game, really solid. Travis looked really good, slotted in very well and looked composed and assured. Davis superb as always. |

I wouldn't say my post was pessimistic. I am just disappointment to see him go, no doubt he wasn't the best as you say. If our midfielders had been fit this season then I genuinely believe we would be higher up the table. Definite progress being made. |

I agree with the OP I was genuinely gutted by the news. I remember him having a stinker at Colchester whilst on loan with them and hoping he would come good. I loved it when he was in the first team. Always seemed to let the ball bounce which is his main downfall, but a solid player and great header of the ball. Shame to see him move on but wish him all the best. He wants regular football and that's fair. |

My first match is extremely memorable. My old man came home from work and took me straight to the game. Barnsley at home in the promotion season. 3-0 at half time and my old man says "if we carry on playing like that we'll score another 3". He was right, we won 6-1 and I loved every minute of it. Hooked since |
| Forum Reply | What's the exact frustration with this season? at 18:17 1 Nov 2017
I can't understand it to be honest. Youth being given a chance (maybe due to injuries, but still good). Scoring goals and probably, based on our squad and what was a massive injury list, in about the position I expected us to be at this point in the season. Either people's expectations are too high, or the last few seasons really have taken their. Only super silky football whilst storming the league will be likely to turn some people around. Let's just support Mick and the team and see where we are come the end of the season. |

lets just hope it all goes well otherwise there will be fireworks on here tonight. Not sure on it myself, but games coming thick and fast and have to manage the injury prone. |
| Forum Reply | I've been on the fence with Mick at 22:01 28 Oct 2017
Long time reader of this forum, first time poster. I have been in the Mick in camp for the whole of his tenure and still am. However, his post match comments today and his belligerent nature (of which he acknkckeldges) is starting to sway me towards a change of management. This season we have shown that we can play some good football, even with our very limited resources. We clearly (when fit) have the nucleus of a very good squad. Bart Iorfa chambers Webster smith Knudsen Skuse Adeyemi Mcgoldrick Waghorn Garner That would be my current line up (if Adeyemi fit, if not downed). Celina and Mcgoldrick could interchange, a Wagnorn Garner partnership excites me a lot. Sears off the bench. Huws to come back. Let's see what Mic Mac can do with a fully fit squad. He has us in a decent position on a shoestring, with injuries to potentially key players, namely Adeyemi and Huws. Adeyemi when fit looks like a really good player, proper box to box and strong. A player the word surging is synonymous with. We know Huws can pop up with goals and the lads up top can score. So Mic Mac has built what appears to be a good squad. I suppose now is the time to see if he can do something with it. One look at the league table shows we are in a pretty good position considering our expenditure and I really hope we can push on from here. |
