A 2021 study by the U.S.’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration concluded that climate change has been the main driver of the increase in fire weather in the western United States. That same year, research by Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, found climate change has driven the significant increase in forest fires in the country for the past 30 years.
But, hey, sometimes it’s hot, and sometimes it’s not. |

Griffith Observatory is a must. As it’s only a day, personal preferences will play a part, but keep in mind that traffic can be arduous and you don’t want to spend precious time idling on the 405/I-10. |

The club’s news release says the club will contact monthly international subscribers with advice on how to convert to the annual subscription. That suggest it’s not as simple as simply choosing the annual subscription option, but you’d imagine that it is that simple. |

It was be a noon kickoff E.S.T., so some bars/pubs might not be open yet. As noted, ESPN+ isn’t readily available at bars/pubs, so a subscription is the safest bet. |

Season long Swansea TV subscription for international fans in 22-23 was £170, Town Tv only offering the monthly subscription totaling an approximate yearly £240. Bit surprised Town Tv will cost that much.
As a US-based subscriber, it’s unfortunate that Town TV is £100 more than a season of iFollow (notwithstanding the single camera technical deficiencies of iFollow). |

I believe RS post-match hour is blocked due to the Commonwealth Games coverage, and normal service to resume once the Games conclude. That’s my understanding of the situation, and the same applies to Life’s a Pitch beforehand. |

The club noted that they’d reminded the main commentator that he should provide more match description, as there were audio-only iFollow listeners. But there’s still very little description of where the players are on the pitch, so there’s very little sense of where the action is happening. |

Jai-Alai. A sport like no other.
In the early 2000s, it was held in a wonderfully derelict large hall, but I think it is now situated in a couple of Miami casinos. Still worth a peek. For reference, there’s a quick shot of a Jai-Alai player at the 15-second mark of the Miami Vice title sequence. |
