Shame it didn't work out for him here but he can definitely do a job at League 1 level and perhaps lower end of Championship. Imagine we wouldn't get much for him maybe 500k |

Not a topic that we want to think about but given that our 25 man squad is full we are going to need to offload to recruit who do we think is at risk? Personally I think the following: Humphreys loan move due to limited game time. Also think the club would listen to permanent offers Baggott the same as above Dominic Ball - has limited game time perhaps we could sell Lee Evans - As above Kayden Jackson - A McKenna favourite but perhaps he could be tempted by a club willing to make him a regular starter Also the following could be at risk of being poached: Chaplin Broadhead Burns All in their prime and it the right premier league team came in with the right offer I’m sure we would consider it. |

Official capacity is now 29,600 but I would imagine a redeveloped Cobbold stand would need to extend slightly into Portman Road and the road narrowed to facilitate this. This would tie in with the creation of a 'leisure district' what with Crown Pools being relocated on the car park. If all that was achievable an increased capacity of 35,000 is possible but the Magnus might need to be enhanced too. |

He’s not been out of football for a long time. He was interim manager a Dundalk and has just left his role as sporting director there. Also similar roles in the NI national team set up. It’s nostalgic but he certainly has the fieryness that we need. |

How do you expect anyone to get experience then? Start at Whitton United and work their way up? It doesn’t work like that. |

Benchmark because of their two games in hand which if they win would take them top. Still don’t think they are the best team in the league. Got to be a toss up between Plymouth and Rotherham at the moment but cook is right it is open this season. |

Not going to write a full match report but here goes: Sunderland matched us man for man from the kick off with the same 4-2-3-1 formation. The first ten minutes it looked like it was going to be a pretty even game with both teams getting down the wings quickly. I’m not too sure why Edwards started not only has he been a poor performer recently but he thrives in games where he is going to have a lot of time on the ball and this wasn’t going to be one of them, going to the stadium of light etc. He had a lot of flair going forward but likes to take two many touches and this allowed Sunderland to close him down. Should have started Chaplin but the result wasn’t all down to him. Aluko was getting a lot of joy on the right by contrast he’s been a quality signing. Fridge solid defensively tried lots of step overs at the back and a lot of them came off good to See him playing with the Sunderland attackers. Walton was at fault for the first goal but he’s saved us at other times this season. He likes to get the ball forward quickly from the goal kick but with one upfront there aren’t usually too many options. Talking about upfront other than a shot in the first half following up from Celina. Bonne was pretty anonymous but again due to lack of service at the feet more than anything. Pigott could start on Tuesday but it would be harsh. Sunderland definitely didn’t deserve any more than a point but having defended so resolutely for 85 minutes, we threw the game a away at the end. Game management again is our Achilles heel but with 2 games in hand and in 6th Spot Sunderland are the benchmark for us and we’ve got a chance to put it right quickly on 18th December. Roll on Tuesday COYB |

A lot of Hladkys errors in the first half were caused by Myles Kenlock abject display which led to Cameron Burgess having to play LB and leaving holes for Sears to exploit. He played well. Colchester’s goalkeeper arguably had a better match though and Eastman and Chambers were resolute. |

My point stands. There is some absolute dross on here and it’s not just Ipswich fans hounding cook, see the Portsmouth media altercation last night. It clearly affects people you never know what someone is going through. I read this forum and comment as I like healthy debate but it’s become far from healthy recently. |

I’ve not seen it to be fair but this is exactly the kind of behaviour I was referring to but it fell on deaf ears. |
