I don't think I have seen his name mentioned yet. Not good to go backwards but recently left his job. Would certainly bring passion, high standards and have us playing good football. Stranger things have happened. I wonder....
Remarkably been one of our better managers in recent times.
It’s strange isn’t it? Every manager that has succeeded him came into the club with better CVs in terms of promotions won but in terms of Ipswich Town, only Mick McCarthy got anywhere near what Jim achieved in his time here.
Love square head to bits, but the last time I saw Super Jim he was holding the NI youth team's kit bags at Belfast International Airport. Unless the club have something leftfield up its sleeve we look to be clutching at numerous straws that look worse on paper than Cook.
think a few people here were saying that cook's 18 months out of the game had seen him get left behind.
don't know what they'd think of magic's gap!
He’s not been out of football for a long time. He was interim manager a Dundalk and has just left his role as sporting director there. Also similar roles in the NI national team set up.
It’s nostalgic but he certainly has the fieryness that we need.

Dundalk - who are now also without a manager (as of yesterday) and Director of Football and who are co-owned by Brett Johnson. Jim won’t be an unknown to our owners.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Love Jim and miss that old passion, but can't see it, although I'm sure he's learnt a lot since he left, mainly from his QPR spell. Might be a good addition within the coaching staff.

all very different to being a hands-on club manager.
klug has had a recent spell as interim manager and lots of roles behind the scenes, but he's not considered either. does magic even want a club now?
