Southampton the real winners last night
at 09:21 11 Apr 2024

Need them to be within 2pts of Leeds going into the last game. If that's by virtue of beating Leicester in the process, lovely job.

Point of order. They're reporting that *someone else* is reporting that we are interested. They rarely do the reporting themselves!

Don't think you'll be far wrong. The three attacking subs from yesterday will start, I'd have thought. Reckon NB will be up front rather than putting more minutes into Jackson, unless a plethora of forwards sign before the weekend. Morsy can shift some rust by kicking some non-league players.

Think they'll be OK now with the Cowleys there, but they were only heading one way with Etherington

It has, normally, been pretty soon after the final whistle.

i.e. the same evening for a 3pm ko

Parkin, O'Callaghan and Turner were on the bench in the 2nd leg

No idea how many subs were permitted

Yeah, cars can't go all way up Mile End Rd as there's a bus lane and it's far more direct for traffic to go along the new road up to the A12/Northern Gateway.

Walking is a straight (long) line.

They stopped that a while ago. It's basically a massive PITA to get to from the town centre now.

The walk to the stadium is all residential, straight up Mile End Rd and keep going but it's ALL uphill and it's a fair old slog (couple of miles)

Utterly dreadful...although they've managed to get Mark Butcher and Mike Atherton at points, which is a relief from the dross they have otherwise.

When they are doing the reporting from the TV feed, which I think they're doing for the ODI's it is appalling. Always has been.

When does Morsy take a tactical yellow card and miss two weaker games on paper?

Got to be. Before we hit Bolton, Barnsley and Derby away

What has changed/is changing to damage our form.
at 10:48 23 Jan 2023

Problem being we need one of the two teams above us (and potentially the one below) to have blips significant enough for us to catch/overtake them, and for our own form to pick up enough. Concern is, currently, the top two don't look like blipping.

The main stand will ensure whatever weak, low sunshine there is won't get to quite a bit of the pitch

7-8 hours of top-level sport and a day in the sunshine, supping at one of the best grounds in the world. Bargain!

Also, if you got in the ballot for those ODI tickets, you might be able to get Day Five Ashes tickets for £20.
