How much will he be worth to us if we stay in the top two and then end up in the PL? Way more than $10. Jonny Parr isn't going to keep us in the PL as our #1 left back and we can't bet on MM consistently finding this level of raw talent, for next to nothing. It's just not in the gene pool. So how much does Tyrone represent in terms of investment for this club? We simply cannot afford to sell him unless it's for much more than he's currently worth - we should think longer term. If he continues to play and to develop at this rate (and to rise in value at this rate) there's no way we can sell him for 10M or even 15M. We should everything we can to keep him, McGoldrick, and Bishop. We clearly have a championship winning team but that means nothing in the PL. Keeping our best players is vital to growth and prosperity. Staying in the PL is what we should be planning for, and this means considering the funds we will get from years of TV payouts, advertising, etc. So, how much is Tyrone Mings worth again? |
