Brittaniaman, I don't think you can say that Bournemouth went up with little to no money, I believe I am right in the fact they broke ffp by quite a way that season.
As for 10 years on we are no further forward quotes from earlier, it's more the speed of other clubs progression which has accelerated much quicker than ours which is the factor, there is unfortunately silly money being spent at the moment for absolute gash players. So we should revel in the fact we can pick up diamonds like Waggy for peanuts. And we need ME a hell of a lot more than some fans think, if we didn't have him (or anybody in that fact) we would basically be out of business.
As for Mick, I'm not his greatest fan but nobody can deny to even get us close to thinking we could go up and this season improving our style is a minor miracle. I just wish he would think before he speaks sometimes. |

It amazes me how some of our 'supporters' can gloss over a few facts and will beat the club down with any little thing.
I suppose the fact that a deal was Agreed 2weeks ago doesn't matter and the fact that the club was just about to announce it when Brighton pulled the plug is also the clubs fault.
I would say the club done bloody well to get a highly rated versatile defender in at short notice. But hey that doesn't fit in some 'supporters' agenda to slate the club every single minute.

Im not slagging off luke by saying I would let him go, He has done ok being asked to play out of position, plus being a decent leader. just think that it may be the right time for both parties for him to go. when Smith is back fully fit that will mean we have 4 CB that would probably expect to start, Plus Digby, Plus younger kids like fowler who could step in for a game or 2. that's top heavy.
Sometimes a change like a new captain freshen things up for the club. |

Why the hell can't we just judge a player for what he does for us, instead of writing him off before he has even signed, Im sure Murphy was slagged off on here when he first signed on loan, and then when he signed on a perm, at look at how important he became for us.

Stats are misleading, I think he started more games at right back/wing back in the premier for the scum than as an actual winger. He divided Norwich fans, some felt he didn't fulfil his potential, yet some took into consideration that he worked hard in a different position.

In total = £12.36 million
Forgive me for being wrong, but didn't Keane/Jewell buy 'quality players' and we all know how that turned out.
Listen, Im not saying we need something a bit extra, but just burning money isn't the answer, we need look at all avenues to find the right players, not just the price tag players. |

ok, he may have a 'wealth' of 765 million, but how much of that is tied up in property/businesses and such like. would part/all of our debt to Marcus Evans group form part of the 765 million wealth?
Im not saying he is shopping at food banks or anything, but its pretty short sighted to think that he can just dip his hand into his pocket and just pull out 10 million for us to spend.
The biggest thing he could for us as a club if he can is write the debt off, or not taking his 5 million per year interest. |

look at it from this point of view, Young Matt Clarke's development will have suffered because he wouldn't get much game time here, so it makes sense to loan him to somebody that can give him that time. Are we going to moan about that, I know I wouldn't. |
