Tomorrow is as hard as the Hull game. Possibly more so.

We don't firstly know what team is ccoming out so I expect us to spend the first 20 minutes trying to sort our shape out to counter the surprises. If we concede during that period then most likely Coventry then go into sit deep mode which we've struggled to break down alot thus season.

If I knew 1000% we'd get a win sat. I'd take a point tomorrow if offered now. But when you've lost to maidstone at home it makes saturday a little nervy.

Not a bad shout. Think he played for Wales there once or twice. Its not really a fullback role either so suits burns as a wingback option. Leave axel back to make a back 3 without the ball whilst burns has licence to attack.

As much as I don't like prem football for the reasons you mention. I just want to be able watch town at least one last time each week play the big sides before I pass.

We might get beaten every week. But it's the biggest prize in football.

Whilst I won't be there in person. There is something potentially exciting to see every single person in the stadium celebrating a town win. ( as long as we a job on Tues first)

I feel for huddersfield.. many more clubs I'd prefer to get relegated before you ( probably same reason you gave.. the Stewart link)

The town fan in me absolutely and defo enjoying it.

The competitive town fan in me is annoyed we keep missing the opportunity to wrap promotion up..

If we fail the town fan in me will be gutted but respectful about what we still managed to do this season.

But the competitive side of me will be fuming if we've done all the hard work to throw it away at the end.

Think I'd actually be confident if one of them had something to play for.

Apart from leeds. The sides we've struggled against have been those who sit back and counter.

We could be going into two games of that exact nature and that makes me nervous.

No.

No disrepect to any town players. But the level isn't anything like league 1 to championship it's a whole new ball game.

Broadhead. Chappers etc have struggled many of times during this season.. that sort of consistency won't do us any good in the prem.

Hutchinson is as close to what prem quality we will need and he's a youngster with so much more to learn.

Davis.. maybe... defensively tho? Maybe not




But.... I didn't see this side being on 90 points with 2 games to go so I'm gonna say I'm wrong anyway.

I can't answer for anyone else's comments, but for those who don't get the need.. you don't have to understand the need. But it was nice to have a thread to vent.

Honestly I'll feel so different about the game when we've got the job done. In fact I'll probably watch it back and enjoy the game as an individual game.

Its the requirement of a certain amount of points which throws my thoughts. If it was a game in Feb for example I'd be celebrating a bloody good draw away at Hull.

Better baller than harness tho imo.


Think it'll be clarke. But if someone else then humphreys maybe the only option. Naturally left footed. Can cross a ball. Can run with the ball and gives his absolute all.
