He had a great opportunity to kill the game, did everything right then messed it up. Not his finest hour.
Leicester though were excellent for 80 mins. As good in fact as Leeds were at their place. I think the subs made a big difference to both teams, but particularly Leicester who unravelled.
They’re one heck of a side though and are not six points clear for nothing. Can we overhaul them? We’d need a run like last season. Possible, but unlikely, not least because while their better players remain fit, they’re not going to lose too many. I notice Westergaard is suspended for a couple. Excellent player - he will be a miss.
Leeds forward line was impressive as usual and so it should be at that price. Overall though I thought they were pretty lacklustre for the middle part of the game and as they toiled looked vulnerable. Good team for this level and with that firepower will likely be promoted. But I’d love them to fall on their rear ends for their arrogance. Loathsome club. Always have been, always will be. [Post edited 24 Feb 8:10]

Agreed. They won 5 of the last 6 games but in the six before that they lost 2 and the rest were draws.
As for this season it is in our own hands. We just have to keep the pressure up, the experience of last season ought to be a big advantage but quality of the opposition is much higher. We do our best and don’t make automatic then full credit to whoever does. | |

Indeed.
Its the same rationale that has people saying we've thrown our lead away, despite us already equalling the best points total from a promoted side in the last 10 years, with 13 games to play. A season is played over 46 games, and points are never accrued at the same rate all season. |  |
