Forest need yo trim a bloated squad, we need a striker, yes we would need forest to heavily subsidise his wages but could he be a potential option?

And has scored 8 in 19 in the PL.

The suggestions get wilder and wilder.

I would think there would be more chance of Rooney having a footballing comeback here.

TBF to you probably assumed he was a fringe player there, I would have done tbh however he's actually had a cracking bit of form recently and been involved through the season Can't remember what game I was watching but they were really complimentary about his season with them.

Not a chance as he’s playing and scoring..

He’d also cost a bloody fortune in loan fee & wages etc.

Forest are in need of offloading some players though given the recent FFP findings and they’ve said they’ll take it seriously and they have a big squad so I expect there will be a few departures in January, but I’ve no idea who, if anyone on their books would be a realistic option. They let Emmanuel Dennis go on loan to Watford recently

They've got Wood, Awoniyi plus Origi on loan from Milan. Probably all out of range for us on any kind of deal but does seem like three pretty similar styles of striker for only a relatively limited number of games they will go on to play this season (17 in league plus however many in FA cup). Any of them would be fantastic for us.

I’d be tempted with a cheeky bid for Haaland

Indeed. I’d have that De Bruyne fella too for a few months. It’s not fair to throw him straight back into the PL. A spell in the Championship would be in his best interests

Nah, he’s 32 and has been out with a bad injury. Sounds too much like a McCarthy/Evans signing to me.
