I was concerned with a lack of Edmundson when Leigh was on the bench. Less concerned with Clarke there as I think he can also play centre back.
Burgess has played left back previously. Assume either Clarke or Ball would come on as a centre back and Burgess switch to the left if something happens to Davis. | |

Main keeper out injured, first choice RB not quite fully fit to start, no recognised LB on bench, no recognised CB on bench. No new signings in the starting 11. On paper, maybe a worse side than the one which couldn't beat Fleetwood even when the title was on the line.
And yet, I am supremely confident. We have a great side, a great squad, we're in great form, and I would not swap our manager for anyone in English football.

I have a feeling they're going to try and catch us on the break. Will be a different test from Sunderland and Stoke, who were more possession based. With the likes of Willock, Chair and Armstrong they will carry a threat. | |

I think the team will be used to that though, it's how a lot of teams played against us last year. Not many teams took the game to us.
Sods law that the game that we were most likely to get something from will be the one we don't.
I think if we win we'll be the first promoted team to win 3 on the trot after getting promoted (or so I'm told) since 2011. Avoid a loss and we break our longest ever unbeaten run.
It's got loss written all over it for the wrong reasons but I'm confident.
