Pretty sure I have read about some of the top clubs studying sleep patterns and mattresses to ensure players get optimal recovery time. Also, did one of the national sides not ship mattresses out to a World Cup so their players slept on their own mattress while at a tournament?

Pretty sure this is a thing.
