Wow. It's not often you hear that. 22:56 - Oct 25 with 1821 views | OriginalMarkyP | McKenna refreshingly full of praise for Humphreys. He really said what he, and probably most of us thought. I always tend to think managers can get a bit cagey when set up to praise their young star talent. But McKenna, just gave credit when it was due. And thinking about it, it's good management. He's laid it out that he thinks he is a special player and so when he has to drop him to let Morsy and Evans back in he won't think it's because the manager doesn't rate him. I would think the lad will feel 10ft tall after hearing his manager praise him like that. [Post edited 25 Oct 2022 22:58]

The Pizza Cup has helped give him a good grounding, along with developing a decent relationship next to Ball I actually think it will be useful to keep our squad players that bit sharper We almost have a different spine in that side with Hladky, Keogh, Ball and whoever we lob upfront

McKenna's comments on Humphreys were superb, well judged, emotive... on 23:11 - Oct 25 with 1489 views | unstableblue | ... I loved it. We have a truly inspirational and thoughtful, modern manager.... I hope he gets the promotion he deserves And I hope our players can get their performances back up to their best levels.... in a way to match the craft, quality and energy shown by young Humphreys tonight

He can keep going back to that when it starts going to humphreys' head. Which lets be honest it might in a small town.

Glad you mentioned the PIZZA CUP as i for one think it has helped us this season . Ball needs game time that was obvious last night just think how our midfield might have struggled without those matches .
