'Bigger clubs' means nothing. We're under indexing relative to the quality we have in our squad, and that solely rests with the manager and management team. We seem clueless tactically and often appear totally ill prepared for who we're up against. The default when we're behind is simply to throw a forward on and hope. Lambert really lacks in that department for me and it shows in our football.
My instinct is that the standards being set aren't high enough for a club that wants to achieve promotion. There's a lot of small things that lead me to think that, and our players are getting an easy ride of it. |  |

I don't see why being a 'bigger club' has anything to do with it but otherwise I agree.
We have no divine right and the squad is littered with average players, sprinkled with promising - but not perfect - youngsters, and topped off with good players who can't play more than 60 minutes for fear of breaking down.
I'm not sure what's happened since our very good start but something has. We weren't playing good football before but we scored half decent goals and were pretty much solid. we're doing neither now.

I like these posts, especially when after each game we keep slipping down the league table and the voice of reason tries to say we're still in with a chance of promotion. How much more time do you think Lambert should be given? We've won one game out of the last 13 or if you think Cup games don't count, none of the last 8 league games. More importantly, we haven't actually looked like winning most of those games and it's impossible to see what Lambert is trying to do or what his preferred formation or starting XI. We're still swapping goalkeepers every few games - does any professional club keep doing that? No wonder the team often look like a bunch of strangers. The manager is also now given to making cryptic comments about whether he wants to be here. OK - please resign Lambert and we can get in an experienced manager who will undoubtedly make a better job of getting clearly one of the best squads of players in this league promoted. |  |

Personally Radlett Blue, I think his time is up. He's had plenty of time to get things in place, but I just get the impression, especially after today's result, the wheels have completely fallen off. Are the players actually playing for him? I just don't think PL knows what to do next, but I've been saying this for a while. More of a concern, is who ME would get in, his track record of appointing managers that will do a job for us is appalling. | |

We're going in the wrong direction and there is little to nothing to suggest that we are going to turn it around. Wycombe are struggling currently but I can't see any way that we will get a win there, which is what we need. We can't break down teams at home, we can't cope with teams at their place anymore in top half or bottom half. There is no confidence, no momentum, Lambert has introduced real uncertainty. | |
