| Forum Thread | Such a strange feeling at 07:52 14 Apr 2024
We sit top of the Championship with 3 games to go and any Town fan would’ve taken that back in August, but I really do feel we’ve let a huge opportunity slip through our fingers with those two home games. What concerns me is we’ve got two extremely tough away games up next, against teams with something to play for. Let’s be honest, we have looked far from convincing in recent away games too and goals are proving difficult to come by currently. Come the Huddersfield game, it might count for nothing. Such a strange situation. [Post edited 14 Apr 7:58]

Southampton the better side for the first 70mins, well certainly after Davis’ goal. I just couldn’t see us getting anything out of that game at 1-2. Credit to the players, that resilience they keep showing, up until those final minutes is incredible. That is a huge 3pts. COYBs!!! [Post edited 1 Apr 19:52]

| Forum Thread | Take the 3pts, performances are secondary this time of the season at 09:36 30 Mar 2024
However, it does worry me when we play like that, especially away from home. We seem to stop doing the things we do well and invite the opposition on to us, inviting pressure. We looked quite desperate at times last night, like we were hanging on and we all know that defensively that isn’t the team’s strength. Nevertheless, I’ll take the 3pts and the fact we are top of the league with 7 games to go. I just worry that we’ve got some tough away games coming up, play like that against teams like Coventry, Hull City and the Canaries then we could come unstuck. |

Always worry me with us. 1 goal is never enough especially with how we defend, the last 10-15 minutes we’ve allowed Blackburn to get into the game without looking that much of a threat ourselves. Half time probably came at the right time. [Post edited 29 Mar 18:26]

Chesterfield back in the EFL after 6 seasons. I still believe he started the change at our club, he had to make those tough decisions to start our climb upwards. Look at the players he brought in, some of those players still having an impact at the top of the Championship. |

You have to say we do keep going until the very end. Take the point and move on. |

more in 6mins here, than what we did in the whole of 90mins at their place. They look right up for it. |

I thought he came on and made a real difference in that final 20-25mins, he did the same during the Boxing Day fixture too. A cameo performance with pace, skill and intent from him. |
| Forum Thread | Much better this half from us at 21:37 22 Jan 2024
We look far more a threat and at least trying to force the issue. First half it was very tepid. |

We’ve done next to nothing in that attacking third and at the moment don’t look like scoring. Sadly, we look a distant second best. The good thing it is still only 1-0 and it’s nearly HT. |
| Forum Thread | Well I don’t think we can argue with that response. at 22:36 26 Dec 2023
Thought Leicester were very good during that first half, once they got a foothold in the game after the first 10-15mins they showed why they are top of this league and oozed class at times. After finishing the 1st half well, we continued with that in the 2nd half and I was really encouraged by that display, especially after Saturday’s damp squib against Leeds. The Morsy equaliser although fortunate was fully deserved. Should give a lot of our fans renewed confidence, tonight was a huge test and we’ve come through it well and cut our teeth against the best side in this league. They still look a more classier side than us, but I was proud how we bounced back and showed resilience against them. I’ll take the point and move on to the QPR game. |

Thought he officiated that game extremely well. |
