No chance. Best player on the pitch by a mile today. He starts next weekend guaranteed with Skuse, Judge and Dozzell. Huws swapping with Dozzell at some point as will Rowe with Judge who were both decent today.

It wasn't that bad, you'll see plenty worse this season. Was just a little late and Flynn didn't like it. Late in the game, 0-0 to a team the league below, he was probably frustrated with that as well. Not that that's an excuse for conducting yourself in that manner | | | |

Indeed. I remember watching David Lowe completely lose it at Lincoln, must have been 1991. Ref basically ordered John Lyall to sub him. Lowe reluctantly walked off while still trying to go after one of the Lincoln players. |  |

Feeling physically sick is an over reaction to a pre-season sending off.
Some players have to play on the edge to be successful, there is plenty of them that have terrific careers. As longs as he doesnt do it on a consistent basis there's no reason to really tear in to the lad. | | | |

Not defending Downes (didn't see it) because obviously he shouldn't react, but nailing someone with a late tackle in the last minute of the last friendly before the League season starts is a pretty despicable thing to do.
And Downes has seen pretty much every other talented player of his age group at ITFC miss a year of their careers due to serious injuries. |  | | |

No excuse but I don’t think it’s coincidence that he’s reacted to a late tackle in the same week one of his mates was put out for at least 6 months with a really horrific one. Trouble is this will happen a lot in this league this year. |  | | |

Doesn’t feel like he’s learning a lesson though, does it? I mean it’s a friendly in which he’s played well by all accounts, hardly 5-0 down in a play off semi. |  |
