A player of his ability deserves a season in the Premiership sun.

Less said about the game the better

Whoever let him go needs shooting.

I just wish he had stayed fit down here.

Anyone who doesn't rate him is clueless.

The Leicester scouts who built the squad that won the Premier League were not wrong when they tried to sign him.

He and Sharp will not look out of place in the Premier League.

As for whoever let him go, none of us was arguing with it when that decision was made were we? Hindsight is an easy thing.

The closest we have to players with his skill are Bishop and Dozzell. If both of them can develop into half the player he is, we will have done well.

I do hope we can watch them and Judge play football effectively next season.

No one argued because of his injury record, not his ability.

If those 2 are their strike force next season they will struggle.....!

Premier league is a massive step up than this league. I rate Sharp but completely unproven in the PL.

Agreed re letting McGoldrick go. He's stayed fit for them unlike with us. He was a high earner who barely played.......he would walk into our team now though.

It's crazy to think a few seasons ago we had Murphy, McGoldrick, Pitman and Sears.....

I would like to see Murphy back here next season to give us the presence we need up front, as well as helping out in defence with set pieces.
He doesn't start many games for Forest, his experience and love of the club would be a massive lift for everyone before the start of the new season.

Didzy would enjoy the extra time he will get on the ball next season, especially if he sits deep. We may not have seen the very best of him yet.

I said nothing about those two being their strike force next season.

What I did say was they will both be good enough for the Premier league. They both have the quality required. I am sure they will add to them because any team needs more than 2 strikers for a full season.

However, if they have a solid defence and a creative midfield, if those two played most games in a Premier season, they would do fine.

How massive a gulf have Wolves found it?

Me too, but despite his great holdup play, he will be far too slow for the big time - he will be one of those players who looks outstanding in the Championship, but out of his depth in the top flight,. - hope I'm wrong.

Hah Sharp!, not a chance in hell he's good enough for the PL. Also Wolves as you must know are a ridiculous example of the point you are trying to make.

Wolves spent over £100m after being promoted - and already had top level players like Neves thanks to the Mendes-link

They’re very much an exceptional case - Sheff Utd certainly won’t be spending £100m. Brighton is a much better comparison and target for them to aim for

He walked in to our team when we were half decent, never mind now!
