One question....
If we had an injury to a defender, why would we even entertain Pennington leaving?
The way I read it is , for us to have considered it ... It's either a negotiating stance for more cash... Or we maybe had another incoming player that has fallen through so we have then blocked the Pennington out move.
If that incoming player was a permanent transfer it would have solved the 5 loans in the squad problem, that Lambert has been vocal about disliking too. |  | | |
