There was a point in the 2nd half where Tyldesley mentioned we'd only played 24 minutes of the second half and I honestly thought we must be approaching the last 5.
Marginally better in the 1st half than the other day but still so static off the ball whilst Henderson seems to have a limit of 5 forward passes a match (not counting long diagonals which never fail to pick out the opposition full back).
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Anyone would think there was nothing to play for
Doesn't matter if there is or there isn't with England, they're less entertaining than paint drying regardless of the situation. With our lofty ambitions, I wonder if we can get out of our group next summer? What an achieve for our squad of players all on a king's ransom! They'll be welcomed back like heroes.
The sooner they are put out of their misery and knocked out the sooner we can all enjoy the World Cup and watch the proper sides playing decent football.

You just wait until the press start cranking it up as we get closer to the competition.
I've lived through many world cups don't worry. I think last time though was the first time there was really no hope going into it even in the press. Of course England then got slagged off anyway for losing to two teams ranked above them despite at least giving them both a game

Instead of (from this perspective) mundane, banal soccer games with the English national team, why don't they just qualify them for every competition, without need of weeks of interruption to the domestic game as they battle past San Marino, Belarus, Greenland, f-ck knows who else..
No labeling groups, no participation, no need for qualifiers, just stick them in the damn competition when the time arises.
Should be fair and apply this to say Wales and Scotland also, but seriously - this of some little benefit to some.
Just want to see Ipswich Town go out and win, to hell with the rest of it. Ring this in as soon as we're back to league action.

I watched the Scotland game and had the misfortune of seeing the mid week one last Wednesday as I had a day off I had to get rid of but apart from that I didn't see any of the qualifiers.. Was thinking of this, genuinely when was the last entertaining England game? Or the last time we put in an actual good performance?

Possibly when we beat Germany 2-3 in 2016 in a friendly.
