I think last season, he was reflecting the mood of many. Clean slate this year and he's given the team and Mick more praise than they've got from the Naked Football Show. In fact, I was irked that Ben didn't think we played as badly at QPR as I did.
You're right about a gap in the market for ITFC on YouTube etc, but Ben's started to fill it. As long as it never evolves into an Arsenal Fan TV freakshow, I think he's doing a great job of it too.

There aren't any adverts before or during his video.Why would an advertiser place an ad before or during the video of some unknown bloke giving his views on Leeds v Ipswich?

I assumed when a video gets a certain amount of views then the ads kick in. I doubt some bloke from Ipswich making a video in his car will do that but who knows.
That's the extent of my YouTube advertising knowledge. I come up with the ideas for ads/write the scripts, anything else is someone else's job.
EDIT: Just had another look to see how many hits he'd had... and there was an ad at the start this time!
