Over last two years I complained about style of football and the dross being served up
Yesterday in first half was some of the best football played by Town in years. Front foot, passing, progressive football with nearly 2/3s possession. However need to be more clinical and ruthless in final third.
Must give Hurst more time and there are some promising signs. If late on penalty had been awarded then may have been very positive about yesterday.
Concerns are where are goals joing to come from as main goalscorers from last season have all departed (Waghorn, Garner, McGoldrick, Celina).
Also slightly bothered by young loan players playing in preference to our own home grown England under 20 nternationals and other young players.
But must keep the faith and hope that Hurst will develop and progress on the green shoots of a more exciting entertaining Ipswich team. [Post edited 12 Aug 2018 10:32]

Don't see Harrison as a lone forward. Even Fulham struggled (relatively) last season until they got Mitrovic in!
We need Huws back soon to replace one of Skuse/Chalobah at the very least. |  |

Not seen highlights yet, but we should have had a penalty shouldn't we?
Other than that, I think most will agree that we tried to play better football than in recent years. There was some nice vision and passing, most of what we did was positive rather than survive we tried to thrive.
I worry about where goals will come from and think 2 up may benefit us.I
