Try it.
I’m not sure how popular sushi is with the general TWTD using persona, but it is (on the whole) quite remarkable. The taste, texture, smell and the overall healthiness of the food is worth giving it a go.
It is probably more commonly eaten in Britain then ever before, however if you haven’t tried it (although, I’m sure many of you have) just give it a shot - you won’t regret it.
It could be the beginning of something quite life changing, oh, and even the vegan samples are tasty too!

My daughters favourite lunch out is now a trip to a yo sushi bar, so I’m becoming a more regular patron as it’s one of the few diminishing ways to get her undivided attention for an hour or so.
I’ve got really into it, although I’m sure there are other places that do it much better, but they won’t have the carousel and self service where vapourette can rapidly rack up a bill. |  |

Oddly enough, there's a Wasabi around the corner from work which does sushi , salads and curry stuff. The curry stuff is good for a lunch / dockey thing and I've been meaning to try the sushi when the weather got warmer and tommorow will be that day, might even do a review. Its very popular with Japanese and Chinese tourists so much be pretty decent. |  | | |

I went to one a year or so ago not far from The Spread Eagle.
It was ok but it isn't my idea of a great meal, maybe a light lunch is ok but not really my cup of tea. |  |

I like sushi quite a bit, im not hipster gaga about it, but I have been to a couple of authentic sushi bars and loved it; ps - if anyone has only had supermarket sushi, don't let that be your benchmark.
Unauthentic sushi I make myself which is delicious is a tuna pate inside sushi rice wrapped in nori- really is quite nice for those squeamish around raw fish. [Post edited 4 Jun 2018 18:34]

I would have thought most people would have tried it by now.
Did a sushi and cocktails course on Saturday. 2 cocktails mixed by the barman with explanations and then we mixed our own espresso martinis and then on to the sushi making.
Not entirely convinced their course is structured the correct way round - great fun though especially as the earlyish start sets up the rest of the sunny day!
