A four course meal in the centre spot is good, not sure what the price is £45 ish? But it is a lovely meal and you get pre-match entertainment as well. Match ticket is extra.

Agree, the match day packages for sponsorship are a pricey way to go, but assume Libero was after a box instead?

They can be relatively good value and there are a lot of empty Cobbold Boxes right now, so they might do a good deal. Unlikely for the Norwich game though.

Food, drinks etc can be included or added as an extra on a pay as you go basis.

Plenty of empty boxes in the Coop too but like you say I think the Norwich game tends to be one of the few each season when they all get sold relatively early.

Coop boxes are much the better product. Something like 1200+VAT I think.

No point for Norwich for 2 reasons....

- It's ranked as Category AA match so will be expensive, as an e.g. one person in the SBR Suite is £185 + VAT I think
- Because it's a morning kick off it is a rubbish game to go corporate

If I were you I'd ask the sales team if there are any 'Pie and Programme' deals coming up and get on one of them if you want to do Corporate - for that it is £60 per gead (£50 + VAT) and you are in the SBR Suite with all what goes on in there, quiz, Warky, ex-players and you get a big Portman Pie, with wedges and salad plus a programme and a teamsheet and a leather seat at back of the South Stand lower tier.

Otherwise you'll be paying a few hundred quid for a box with no food or entertainment where only 4 of you can see the pitch?

We hired a box in the Cobbold Stand last season for 8 of us near the middle of the pitch and it cost about £700.

For that you get free parking in the small car park next to the SBR stand. You get free tea, coffee and water in the box. You can order food and drinks to have in the box but they have to be paid for and you are not supposed to drink alcohol while the game is on. There is a telly in the box and you get the game plus action replays as it is happening. We were able to get there at 12.30 if we had wanted and not leave till a couple of hours after the game.

The only minus thing, apart from the cost, was there is no atmosphere as you can't hear the crowd.

I imagine if you settle for a cheaper offer without a view of the pitch during the match- it could work out very cost effective. With the style of play as it is at the moment, everyone wins - including Town.

"Get it to Skusey!"
"More punting!"
"Cor, look at all the empty seats!"
"Big punts please!"

Having sat just behind the dug out once last season, the piped commentary would consist of Mick saying 'what the feck is he up to', 'bòllocks' and 'that was never a fùcking free kick'.

It's been three or four years since I went corperate but the last time was in the Co-op stand and I think we all had to pitch in £150 each.

If you ahve the choice and budget then go for the co-op box over the Cobbold box. The co-op boxes are spacious and you have your own seats outside, right in front of the box. Whereas the cobbold boxes are small and inside behind smoked glass so you might as well watch the match on iFollow.

Also with the Cobbold boxes the stewards are constantly looking at you through the glass to make sure you aren't drinking whilst the game is on whereas in a co op box you can nip inside for a stiff one during the match.
