I was lucky enough to see him at Ipswich Regent,he was a true great.

He did,taxi from the station then he wandered in the front entrance,down the central aisle with guitar on his shoulder then up on stage to join the backing group that were already there.

That is how I remember it anyway and hope that I have not over romanticized it.
