I'm thinking 'on the beach' is a myth.

I kept thinking to myself, they'll tire second half.

Then, they'll tire last 20

They'll tire last 10

Integrity of the league isn't though. At least it isn't with well run clubs with a good manager.

Coventry seems to have both. They will be top 6 next season if my mystic Meg premonition is right.

I actually think their cup run cost them. They played a good game tonight, its a shame to see so many empty seats though.

Premier Poster. Too good to be elite.

Is there any stats on the beach theory. I think catching up games in hand is a bigger issue than the beach. I would be more concerned that the team you wanted to beat your rival was on a 5 games in 12 days than they were on the beach. Southampton proving my point, whilst Cov didn't look like they were on the beach tonight.
The stats would be interesting.

Total respect for Coventry and Mark Robins. Admirable, but very relieved we beat them.

Thought Coventry were a credit to themselves on and off the pitch - we’d be delighted if they put in that performance on our behalf and we did really well to get through.

A note too for the Coventry fans to our right who gave us a generous ovation during our celebrations.

Palmer and Eccles both very good for them.

Wright scored, and that was about it - and Simms had an absolute stinker, thankfully.

I am drinking cheap Cider trying to calm down after tonight, that was absolutely vile.

I nipped out to Tesco Extra after the game to get some 'calm the feck down' beers. I don't drink at home hardly ever and certainly not on a 'school night' but I needed something. I was a mess.

Can fight like demons, and why we couldn’t settle for a draw tonight.

That bloody substitute referee though - 99/100 that’s a penalty awarded, but no, not to “lucky Ipswich”, obviously [rolleyes]
