Investment rather than sale, no? 17:46 - Mar 22 with 666 viewsZx1988

Reading between the lines of the announcement, is Bright Path's involvement more or a case of them having invested and, as a result, ownership percentages being rejigged?

I get the concerns that there may be an element of the Arizona PSPRS cashing out some of their chips, but it doesn't read that way to me.

I assume there's a subtle but key difference if this is the case?

ORG have flipped a bit and looked after their pension fund in the process.

None of us know the full ins and outs or who these investors are so everything is guesswork.

It's business.

Tho some of it can be deduced when the share ownership changes are filed at Companies House.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

A sign of incredible progress, maybe... on 18:02 - Mar 22 with 494 viewsScottCandage

Not that I know anything, I'm just the Lucky Poo guy, but...

Could it be that Arizona PSPRS looked at Ipswich Town and said, "Poop, they're going up MUCH sooner than we expected, and they are going to need a cash injection to be able to sign some Premier League level players. Instead of funding that all ourselves, let's sell a big chunk of our share and that way the new investors can help us fund the club's soon to be escalating payroll."

If this is the case, this is INCREDIBLE for us.

Quite possibly. Combined with significant infrastructure/development projects the club is involved with (Cobbold, Staples site, maybe the leisure facilities on the other side of Portman Rd).
