All i have in my locker is:
Tuna Pasta bake
Spicy bean /sausage stew
Ham and cheese pancakes.
Oh and the cheat's trash food of those mini Goodfella's pizzas

Usually will he sold as a pack of braising/casserole beef. Its the cheap cuts, but if you slow cook it in the sauce for 2 or 3 hours it's the best tasting. [Post edited 8 Jan 15:50]

Good shout J2, they're as cheap as p1ss as well.
TBH in a curry, when you have a decent base source I personally don't find the ingredients to be particularly important as their taste is generally overpowered by the curry anyway. You can switch meat with little compromise IMO. | | | |

As already mentioned ,italian,Indian and Mexican are probably the 3 cheapest meals and all work well with no meat.
However if want meaat and you didn't over indulge last month, Turkey is such a cheap versatile meat, aswell as the meals above it goes so well in a stew, pies and strirfries etc |  | | |
