Score predictions for tonight 15:12 - Sep 19 with 1215 views

Given saints form of late and the way we attack, feels like a 3-2 or 4-3 could be on the cards. Hard to call it either way; they have quality and are wounded by two thumping defeats. Just wonder if their extra day of rest (and no traveling) might just give them the edge. Would take a point, happily.

I fear some of the (over-) optimism will anger the gods of fate and we'll be made to pay for such hubris. Saints will want a reaction from recent wallopings and, as you say, an extra day to prepare with no travel is a minor advantage. Don't think Martin's the type of manager to alter his principles and suddenly go all defensive to grind out a result, especially at home with a crowd wanting to see the sort of thing Leicester did to them. Suspect he'll have been working on just trying to do Plan A better.

As a result can see a match similar to the Leeds game - lots of chances for both teams and moments where we'll be under quite a bit of sustained pressure. Could say the same for every match really but if a chance comes it's imperative we take it.

To put a couple of numbers on it I'll go 2-2, which would be an excellent result imo.
