I've just read on Skysports the he may be allowed to move on. I'd take him in a heartbeat, not sure if we could afford him...

Him and Hirst rotating would be perfect IMO.

Don't think he can match Hirst's workrate or ability on the ball.

This.

Moore is by no means a pressing forward whatsoever, he'd be a very poor stylistic fit.

Maybe not, but he's definitely got the physicality and finishing (head and feet) that we're looking for.

One might say he even has unfinished business...

I'd take him, holds the ball up really well as a target man but can also run the channels as he has done for Bournemouth for several years, mainly from the bench. Could be a brilliant foil for our players just behind.

Yeah, because we’d change our whole style of play to accommodate Moore.

No thanks.

His 40-odd Championship goals are nothing to be sniffed at, but he's only scored a handful of goals total over the last 4 seasons, so maybe one who maybe has now passed their chance? He's 31-32 isn't he?

I suppose there is an argument that he would link well with Broadhead and Burns too as they will have worked together in the Wales squad. He has just turned 31 by the way, for those asking the question earlier in the thread:

Would we need much of a style change tho? is his movement any weaker than ladapo's?

I took the kids to see the Swansea/Bournemouth up match last night. Kieffer played the first half and looked worse than he did with us. Truly awful.

You're going to struggle with us being top half in the Championship in that case.

Get him in. He has scored at Championship, Prem and international level, he will score loads in this team. KM will work on him running into the channels. Remember in Hirst's first few games 'running the channel' hardly happened, KM and the coaches quickly worked on him and improved him, they can do the same with Moore

Well we’re trying to recruit a similar striker to Hirst as they clearly don’t feel Ladapo had the mobility that Hirst does … Moore has even less mobility than Ladapo ffs.

It's becoming increasingly obvious that Ladapo isn't what McKenna wants stylistically at this level though, so that's not really a benchmark!

Not sure he fits the McK mould though, regarding age and mobility.

Jamal Lowe is in the same boat apparently. I’d rather have him as an alternative to the likes of Burns and Broadhead.

Not convinced KM is mobile enough to play in our side

Not shot down BD, it’s just opinions. And while I agree with you on many things it’s a no from me on Mr Moore. Really done well in his career though. I never thought he’d achieve what he has.

Yup. Went to the world cup after we sold him for peanuts. Classic ME stuff.

Top half of the Championship you say? Some achievement that…in 6 years. May one suggest you have greater ambition in life?

I imagine that our aspiration for this season is likely to be top half, challenging for top 6 of possible. So basically back to where we were for all bar one of MM's seasons here. I'm worried that might be triggering for you.

To be fair. He only looked any good when he played for Rotherham in L1 on loan, whenever he played for us, he looked guff.

Then he went to Barnsley and played like he had been at Rotherham. Some players, just don't play well at certain clubs.
