I think if we want 90 minutes of George Hirst style striker every week (i.e. heavy pressing, athletic, running into ground, technically decent) then Bishop would be a good player to bring in as can do all that |  |

He would be a good addition. Not a stellar signing but a solid squad addition. Would be happy if we signed him.
From Ashton's comments though it did feel like the next few signings would be step-up/improve the first 11 signings. Not quite sure Colby ticks that box but certainly not a bad addition .

24 goals in 52 appearances last year is better than I expected!! I’d imagine they are asking for 2m+ which in the current market, is probably a pretty fair price for a clubs main number 9, top scorer and in his absolute prime years (26). |  | | |
