I am sure Janoi will be just fine, but Clarke getting injured now may be a blessing in disguise rather than had it happened in a month's time. I suspect we may see a loan or two come in now, if we do, acting now will likely give us more options than we would have had later into the transfer window. [Post edited 26 Jul 2023 8:26]

I think he is more than a capable deputy. As proven 2 seasons ago. And probably a little safer defensively.
It was harsh at the time when we bought Clarke and replaced JD. But this happening is exactly the reason why we did. | | | |

Donacien was excellent last night, against Premier League opposition, as were all the defence in the first half.
But if Clarke is out for some time, Ball didn't look last night as he had the pace to be cover at right back. [Post edited 26 Jul 2023 10:22]
