Funny one. Pre-injury when he burst on the scene with us I thought we had a top Championship player in the making. I’ve never not liked what I’ve seen from him since either. Although he’s never had a run to get going again.
He’s obviously not going to be first choice, so good move. I’m slightly surprised we haven’t kept him for squad depth, but then if he wants to play (and he needs to, as per above) this is probably best for all parties.
Shame he couldn’t have had a bigger role here, as he seems like a lovely bloke. |  |

But to be fair, that team was facing a relegation battle. And it should also be admitted that Junior Tchamadeu (an attacking full-back) sings his praises as a coach. |  | | |

They were deep trouble when he joined they had to dig in until the transfer window in Jan.
