Especially with the calibre of clubs there next season. Top 10 finish would be great achievement first season back. Anything more great bonus

Not that surprising, as we are going up. We will finish 4th and beat Southampton at Wembley.

That'll be disappointing. I was hoping for the automatics.

True, a step back from expectations but the objective would be achieved.

Really? I’m not sure Pep will be there in 2024/25. Should be aiming high. As KM said stop putting a limit on it.

I guess that’s purely so we could tick off the ‘played at new Wembley’ box..

We'll save that for the FA Cup final.

If I remember correctly we were favourites for promotion from the Championship at the start of Keane’s first full year in charge.

Bookies did not get that one right.

On this one occasion, I think the bookies can be excused of blame.

We're 5-8th with the sponsors and 9-11th with the other two that have priced up so far.

We don't bother with the cups. We can go there in the Charity Shield instead.

Plus, the FA Cup final would mean we would have been there in the semi already.

Just had a look at William Hill and it is a bit baffling that Town are 16/1 for the Championship title, just behind Nodge at 14/1, but Plymouth - who won L1 - are 66/1 making them second to last.

It's not odd at all. They expect us to strengthen and spend money. Plymouth will likely not strengthen that much.

Truly impaired.

Apart from the fact that the odds are set by who is prepared to put money on it, I think the expectation is that Town will strengthen. Plymouth have to replace loans and won't be spending the same as us. From January our form was better than Plymouth's.

Whilst it would be rash to write Plymouth off entirely after their last two seasons, I think they will be happy to stay up while our aims longer term are to get into the Premier League.

Oh I agree and fully expect Town to finish higher than Plymouth - just surprised about the gap being that large on the part of the bookies.
