Brentford, Boxing Day 2014.

Also to be seen in the context of Leeds, Middlesbrough and Charlton at home. We were bloody good that month.

Would add:

Brentford away 2015 (first 85mins) . First game of the season, Fraser and AMN flying on the wings. Thought we were going to walk the league that year. Enter Jonathan Douglas.

Also Leicester at home 2013. Smashed 6-0 in the reverse fixture, MM had made us solid and hard to beat. A team with Schmeichel, Keane, Knockhaert, Harry Kane, Chris Wood and we beat them 1-0.

Good call. I would clarify that my post was intended more as gallows humour than negativity.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

THE single best performance by this Club was the annihilation of St Etienne on their own patch in the UEFA Cup...end of. They had I believe never lost a game in the UEFA Cup, and we tore them a new one . 'Twas back page news on every National paper ....

The state of that pitch!!!!
I don't think they'd allow rugby on that these days!

Poll: Now that The Athletic has an article, is this takeover actually happening?

Plastering Man Utd 6-0 in I think 1980 wasn’t bad either. MU finished second that year and were very lucky to only lose by six.

But that was so last century.

This century, a number of the 2000-2001 season would feature, not least the Spurs 3-0 game. Murdering Everton away was good too.

After that the 6-0 Leicester hammering, West Ham 5-1 and McCarthy’s M’boro and Brentford games. The Leeds game was fun too, but they were down to 10 men for an hour. Recent years? Forget them.

This century? So since Jan 1st 2000?

Play off final 2000

The whole of season 2000/2001 - special mentions for Leeds and Liverpool away

Brentford Boxing Day 2014

Magic's last game in charge, we only won by one goal but the performance was better than that.
Haynes at the double at PR

The 4-0 win under Terry Connor

Peter Slater, the BBC reporter told me just a couple of weeks ago, it's still the best European performance he's ever seen.

Beating Southampton 3-0 away with the perfect hatrick from Marcus Stewart

Beating Tottenham 2-1 away

Beating Inter Milan 1-0

Swindon away when we scored a million goals, filled their ground and they had a comical sending off.

I can’t remember the year or the actual final score but it was a great day out.

Beating Spurs 3-1 on Boxing Day in 2000 was pretty special.

I was at that game - it took place in 1999 and finished 6-0!

I took a non ITFC supporting friend who looked like Manu Thetis, and we bumped into some of our fans who wouldn't believe that it wasn't him! He ended up signing a couple of programmes so they would leave

Weve had some cracking games over the years. Well before the Keane years and onwards.

Crewe I think we beat 6 4 away. Or something like that.
I swear we used to put 4 or 5 past port vale everytime we played them too
