Lets give the unions MORE power because, after all, they are good people. 19:12 - Dec 2 with 2197 viewshampstead_blue

South West trains - 27 days of strikes around Christmas

NI - 10,000 patients have had their appointments delayed by the union!
On R4 this evening a union pleb apologised for the delay and accepted that it could cause upset and problems......
A bad week to have your cancer diagnosis appointment!!!!!

Hands-up who wants to give the unions more power?

The strikes are a vile and disgraceful action deliberately putting people's lives at risk.

Hello!!! Is anyone at home? Vote Labour......Vote for free stuff (but only if you survive long enough)....

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

I read the article, including the bit where the union said they'd given exemptions for cancer (and some other) services - I find using something as emotive as cancer especially low - and that many of the appointments were cancelled before the strike action was announced. It seems you've not read your own article. Again.

Sorry chap but read this quote:

Belfast Health Trust chief executive Martin Dillon said outpatient cancellations meant people due to have cancer diagnostic tests this week had had their appointments postponed.

I think you may have missed this. Fair enough if you did.

And of course under Labour none of the above was happening right. It’s all the fault of the bad old Tories who did not inherit a bankrupt country did they?

So are you now going to agree that there's a reason for Labour's increased spending based on what they would inherit?

Anyway, you're being a bit loose with the facts here: the Tories have increased the debt by 800 billion since 2010 and yet decided that this stuff just wasn't worth paying for.

because they are supposed to care for their members.

A Debt-to-GDP ratio is never considered a bankrupt state, especially when a massive chunk of it is actually owed to Bank Of England i.e. itself.

You only have to look at superpower industrial and tech countries, Japan is a fine example, where their DtoGDP is massively overwhelming compared to UK.

Second Iraq war - WAR CRIME
Financial crisis - light touch regulation by Brown.

That's two without having to cut and paste a list from google.

The Tories inherited a bankrupt country. Someone remind him of the quote the Labour treasury minister left.......

You’ve definitely lost it on this one. As Herbs said, the person you’re attacking was against the Iraq War. Johnson on the other hand supported the invasion and stood against calls to seek UN support. And it’s widely known that Brown didn’t cause the global crash and the Tories signed up to Labour’s spending plans in 2007.

Now we posted a graphic that showed the cuts on the nhs since 2010 which will have caused all the health related problems listed, and the same goes for the social care system as well.

And If we were so broke Circa 2010 why cut corporation tax from 28% to 19 ?

err no

They took over a country that jad been savaged by the ravages of the collapse of the sub prime mortgage market - and it was not bankrupt so stop lying.

The irony being that in 2006 George Osborne was criticising Gordon Brown for trying to rein in borrowing, by stating that the UK should be more like the celtic gtiger economies.

Because if Brown had followed Osborne's idea then the UK would have been bankrupt and unable to bail out the Irish economy. So perhaps you might care to check first before spouting vacuous Tory lies.

Try reading the whole article, you posted it after all. Any cancer appointments cancelled weren't due to the strike, cancer services were exempted from the strike action. It's in the article more than once. You really don't seem to care about salvaging any credibility. You really should take a break.

No ... Over half of it went on QE and filling the pockets of .... I mean boosting share prices ... I mean boosting the economy. Even though that's a recipe for increasing wealth inequality according to many economists ... which when coupled with austerity becomes a pretty toxic mix.

See that list and those most affected by the cuts as a list of their lowest priorities.

Well it certainly did not exist in any Tory campaigning in 2010

Vote for us, but we won't be able to do anything about anything as it has already been laid down what will happen over the next decader'

In ten years time after a Labour (and coalition) government would you honestly accept the excuse that it was not us who farked up the country, iot was those Tories ten years ago. You might, I wouldn't.

My thought and reply would be, any mess is of YOUR causing.
