My favourite band ever. I have pretty much every note they ever recorded in a studio. Released or otherwise, I have 4 cd sets of them just recording one song. Every single take of Strawberry Fields Forever from John's initial demo to the finished version. It would be fair to call me a bit of a Beatles obsessive. I remember going up to Liverpool and doing the Beatles Story museum on Albert Dock, then doing the Magical Mystery Tour on the bus around Liverpool going to all the Beatles sites. After we'd done George's place and were en route to Strawberry Fields the bloke with the microphone doing the tour guide bit started doing a Beatles quiz and at the end it was just me and him, asking me really obscure stuff to try to catch me out like Ringo had to miss a tour to where in 1964? I gave the right answer and the following questions right and he gave up( Australia and New Zealand, Tonsilitis, Jimmy Nicol) We got out at John's house and he asked me how the ***k I knew so much about the Beatles, I just said I read a lot of books and it all stays in.
