I think we have to remember... 09:49 - Oct 25 with 1218 viewsmarcus1642

That bigger teams than Ipswich have been relegated. In recent years, we've been punching above our weight for sometime, and history means nothing.

Really not sure what that brought to the table.

"Punching above our weight"?

This isn't another wind up from the Naarwich forum is it?

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

If history means nothing can you explain why, in your opinion, what happened in the past to other teams has any relevance?

My point was more this;

Do you really think there is a single person on this board that doesn't think we are heading for relegation as it stands?

That maybe we should look at how seemingly 'nothing' teams such as Bournemouth, for example are in the premier league and Town isn't? Is there anything we can learn from them?

Just as an example of course.

I would say that at least 80% of the forum users would say, at this moment of time, we are going to get relegated.

As supporters, we have to accept it, and realise ipswich is becoming, or has become, a mere minnow. Even in the championship.

I totally agree with you. We can all see that the lack of real investment is costing us dear however. ME is obsessed with following a standard business model.

Modern football is not a standard business model. FFP is a toothless mechanism for an even playing field to boot.
