Maguire to LCFC on 18:58 - Jun 14 with 3616 views | Terry_Nutkins | He looked exceptional at times last season. Its a lot but money well spent to be honest. The Pickford for 30 mil is the one that amazes me! [Post edited 14 Jun 2017 18:58]

£17m isn't a lot in Prem terms, and he's a younger, better version of either Huth or Morgan. Really good signing.

All these ex-utd players being released for nothing or next to nothing isn't reflecting well on them right now

Everton are buying potential with Pickford. He was never going to keep them up single-handedly, but he certainly kept them in games last season. From the information about the transfer it looks like the initial fee was £18m with top-ups to make it near to £30m. Believe him and Butland are the future for England.

It's £12m plus add-ons. If he becomes a mainstay of their defence, it's a good deal. However, not all players live up to expectations, especially after signing big deals.

See above. Confusing him and Keane, who was being linked with a £30m move back to them

And Keane will go for much more than Maguire when the time comes.

Fair enough - I hope they put a buy back in! Feels like towards end of Fergie's reign they went really short term on things and haven't really gone back to long term thinking yet
